Please join AOSCA & USDA-AMS-S&T-SRTD for an upcoming webinar, OECD Seed Schemes: Building on the US Seed Certification System led by Dr. Steve Malone.
December 13, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST, 2:00 pm EST
The OECD Seed Schemes is an international agreement that promotes the international trade of high-quality variety verified seed. US participation in the OECD Seed Schemes is managed by USDA-AMS-S&T-SRTD through cooperative agreements with state Seed Certifying Agencies. Our AOSCA member agencies are critical to the success of the US program and the ability of US seed companies to move seed to international customers and counter-season production partners. USDA builds on the expertise and experience of these agencies to certify seed that will be shipped around the world. This webinar will discuss how the OECD Seed Schemes system benefits the U.S. seed industry, highlight the similarities and differences with domestic US seed certification, and key processes in the US OECD Seed Schemes program.
