TRAVEL GUIDANCE
The Ranch at UCross is located approximately 17 miles northwest from I90/I25 (Buffalo, Wyoming exit) or 27 miles southeast of I90 exit #25 (Sheridan, Wyoming). From October through April, our guest ranch and retreat is a premier location for executive retreats, sales conferences and weddings, while serving as an enchanting vacation destination from May through September.
Sheridan County Airport (SHR) —
Nearest commercial airport with scheduled service (United connection via Denver). Driving distance to Ucross is roughly 25–30 miles depending on route and conditions. Sheridan has rental counters (Avis, Budget; Enterprise also services the area). For local ground transport see Sheridan’s airport transportation page.
Billings Logan International (BIL) —
Billings (MT) offers many more flight options and generally lower fares; it’s a longer drive (~2+ hours / ~125 miles) to Ucross via I-90 and local roads — good if you want more schedule choices.
Rental car options & vehicle recommendations
