The 2010 AOSCA Western Region Meeting
and Native Seed Powwow will be held at the Embassy Suites Napa Valley
in Napa, CA on April 13-14, 2010. Larry Teuber, Executive Director, and the
staff of California Crop Improvement Association are your hosts.
The hotel is located in
the heart of Napa and Sonoma Wine Country. It is close
to many world-renown wineries and other leisure activities in the
local area
such as the Culinary
Institute of America, Thomas
Kellers’ French Laundry, Robert
Mondavi and Opus One Wineries and the
Napa Valley Wine Train. You may want to
add on extra days for vacation time in the beautiful Napa Valley!
For air travel, your airports of choice are Sacramento
(SMF); San Francisco (SFO); or Oakland (OAK). From any of these
airports, it will be a 1-2 hour drive depending on time of day and
traffic. You may also fly into Santa Rosa Airport (STS) which should
be about an hour's drive.

available until Monday, March 15th or until the block is sold out,
whichever comes first.

AOSCA Western Region Meeting Registration~
Please submit agenda items for the Western Meeting to Abed
Anouti (520) 305-3586 of the Arizona Crop Improvement Association.
The Powwow meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, the 13th
from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Please submit agenda items for the
Powwow to Stan Young (435)
797-2082 of the Utah Crop Improvement Association. The Foundation Seed meeting is from
1:00pm to 3:00pm after which the General Session will begin and run
until 5:00pm. The General Session continues on Wednesday, the
14th from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Additional information will be
posted as it becomes available.
